WCWCD Gunlock to Ivins Reservoir Pipeline
Project:
WCWCD Gunlock to Ivins Reservoir Pipeline
Client:
Washington County Water Conservancy District
Description:
The Gunlock to Ivins Reservoir Pipeline consisted of piping an open canal with approximately 43,500 lineal feet of 30-inch diameter Cement Mortar Lined (CML), Tape wrapped steel pipe and polyurethane lined and coated steel pipe, fittings, valves, and appurtenances. The purpose of the project was to meet the criteria of the Shivwitts agreement to maintain a minimum flow of water in the Santa Clara River for fish habitat, while minimizing the amount of irrigation water that was lost though bank seepage and evaporation with the existing conveyance system.
